Last reviewed: August 2026

The MaxxHaul 80778 12V Magnetic Towing Light Kit is designed for maximum safety and visibility on your RVs, utility trailers, boat trailers, flatbeds, and other towing applications under 80" wide. Each light features a dual-sided design with a 4-1/2" red brake light on one side and an amber flasher on the other, ensuring that your vehicle is clearly visible to traffic behind you. The heavy-duty magnetic base provides an 11 lb pull to keep the lights securely in place on clean, flat steel surfaces. (Note: the lights will not adhere to aluminum surfaces.) The included 20-ft color-coded wiring harness with standard 4-flat wire vehicle trailer connector makes installation simple and straightforward. Built for outdoor trailer use, the kit is water-resistant but not submersible—do not install directly on boats. The kit complies with DOT standards and is ideal for a wide range of towing needs. Functional testing and quality inspections ensure reliable performance for years to come.
