Last reviewed: April 2026

rv_levelingground_placed

Steel scissor jack pair rated at 7,500 lbs each with 24 inches of maximum height. Lippert's version of the classic mechanical stabilizer — crank to extend under your trailer frame for four-corner support. At 28 lbs for the pair, slightly lighter than BAL equivalents.

Perché questo prodotto

Perché il Lippert Scissor Jack 24" 2-Pack?

Lippert makes the jacks that come stock on many trailers, so these are familiar to a lot of RV owners. At 7,500 lbs and 24 inches, they match BAL and EAZ LIFT specs. The slight weight advantage at 28 lbs is nice if you move them around a lot. Same mechanical reliability — no batteries to die, no motors to fail.

“Perfect: These fit our camper wonderfully replacing the flimsy ones that came with it. These are very sturdy and the camper doesn’t rock as much.”

“Perfect replacement for my rear stabilizers on my RV: I used these to replace the original rear stabilizers on my RV that got ripped of when the rear end bottomed out in a large dip at a campground. These work very smooth and hold well. I recommend them. They were the exact size I needed and the perfect height,”

“Just what we needed: These jacks are sturdy, easy to set up and are just what we needed to help stabilize and level our C Class motorhome. We have four of them and use a battery powered drill to raise and lower them.”

Domande frequenti

It mounts to the frame rail and extends to the lift height in its name. Measure your frame-to-ground height first. It installs bolt-on or weld-on, so an existing jack's holes will not necessarily line up.

5,000 lbs per jack — not per set. This is a set of 2, so the figure on the box may appear as a total; it is 5,000 lbs times 2, and no single jack does more than its own share. Match the per-jack number against the weight actually resting on that corner, which is a fraction of the trailer's weight, not all of it.

No. A stabilizer stops the trailer rocking when you walk around inside it. It is not a lift, and it is not a jack stand. Raising a trailer on stabilizers can bend the frame at the mounting point, and it puts the whole thing on hardware that was never rated to hold it up. Use a bottle jack at a designated lift point, then support the load on stands, and only then go underneath.

This is a set of 2. Four is the normal number for a travel trailer — one at each corner — so a pair covers one end and most owners end up buying two sets. Placing them just inside the corners rather than at the extreme ends does more to stop the rocking, because that is where the frame is stiffest.

Universal bolt-on. Bolting is within reach of anyone with a drill and a socket set; welding is not a driveway job. Either way, mount to the frame rail itself, never to sheet metal or a bed liner — the jack will hold, and the thing it is bolted to will not.

Put something under the foot. A jack pad or a scrap of dimensional lumber spreads the load so the foot does not press into gravel, sand or soft turf. This is not about grip — a stabilizer is not trying to resist sliding, it is trying not to sink. On asphalt in summer heat, a pad also keeps the foot from leaving a dent you will be asked about.
