Perché questo prodotto

Perché il EAZ LIFT Scissor Jack Pair?

EAZ LIFT's scissor jacks compete directly with BAL at the same 7,500 lb rating and 24-inch height. The mechanical design means no batteries, no motors, no failure points beyond the screw mechanism. At 30 lbs for two, they are reasonable to handle. If you need a reliable pair of scissor jacks, these and BAL are the two main choices.

“Excellent product and really works to stabilize the trailer: 7,500 lb I had four BAL stabilizers on my trailer and they retracted high to avoid any contact with rear-end scraping on the ground.”

“Perfect Stabilizer Upgrade: 7,500 lb Installed these Camco EZ Lift stabilizers on my 2013 Skyline 25' camper. OEM stabilizer mounting holes almost lined up perfectly, but I redrilled the holes to accommodate larger mounting hardware anyway. Took about 30 min per stabilizer to install.”

“Just what the doctor ordered: 7,500 lb Heavy duty quality vs manufacturer stabilizers. Easy installation and once in place easy up and down process. Arrived on time and everything was there to install with.”

Domande frequenti

It mounts to the frame rail and extends to the lift height in its name. Measure your frame-to-ground height first. It installs bolt-on or weld-on, so an existing jack's holes will not necessarily line up.

7,500 lbs per jack — not per set. This is a set of 2, so the figure on the box may appear as a total; it is 7,500 lbs times 2, and no single jack does more than its own share. Match the per-jack number against the weight actually resting on that corner, which is a fraction of the trailer's weight, not all of it.

No. A stabilizer stops the trailer rocking when you walk around inside it. It is not a lift, and it is not a jack stand. Raising a trailer on stabilizers can bend the frame at the mounting point, and it puts the whole thing on hardware that was never rated to hold it up. Use a bottle jack at a designated lift point, then support the load on stands, and only then go underneath.

This is a set of 2. Four is the normal number for a travel trailer — one at each corner — so a pair covers one end and most owners end up buying two sets. Placing them just inside the corners rather than at the extreme ends does more to stop the rocking, because that is where the frame is stiffest.

Put something under the foot. A jack pad or a scrap of dimensional lumber spreads the load so the foot does not press into gravel, sand or soft turf. This is not about grip — a stabilizer is not trying to resist sliding, it is trying not to sink. On asphalt in summer heat, a pad also keeps the foot from leaving a dent you will be asked about.
