Perché questo prodotto

Perché il iKamper Skycamp DLX Mini?

The DLX Mini brings the 4-inch mattress to iKamper's 2-person format at 140 lbs. Same dual-layer insulated FRP shell as the full DLX. Compared to the Skycamp Mini 3.0 at 125 lbs with a 2.3-inch mattress, you are trading 15 lbs for nearly double the mattress thickness. If comfort matters more than minimizing weight, the DLX Mini is worth the premium over the standard Mini.

Domande frequenti

Here's why this matters: the iKamper Skycamp DLX Mini weighs 140.00 lbs. Your roof rack's dynamic load rating must exceed that plus occupant weight when driving. Most factory racks top out at 150–165 lbs dynamic. Usa il nostro verifica compatibilità to verify your setup.

The iKamper Skycamp DLX Mini weighs 140.00 lbs (63.50 kg). Here's why that matters: your vehicle's dynamic roof load rating must comfortably exceed this weight. Add passengers sleeping inside (static load only) and you need the static rating to clear roughly 440.00 lbs total.

L''installazione richiede due persone e circa 45 minuti. The iKamper Skycamp DLX Mini bolts to your crossbars using the included mounting hardware. Key requirement: verify your crossbar spread is between 22.0" and 39.0" before you start.

Yes. The iKamper Skycamp DLX Mini's hardshell design is aerodynamically efficient when closed. Most owners drive at normal highway speeds (65–75 mph) without issues. Here's why: the rigid shell deflects wind cleanly. You'll notice some increased fuel consumption and minor crosswind sensitivity, but handling stays predictable.

The iKamper Skycamp DLX Mini uses 300gsm poly-cotton canvas fabric with a 2000mm waterproof rating. Ecco perché è importante: 1500mm resiste a pioggia moderata, 3000mm+ resiste ad acquazzoni prolungati. It's rated 4_season.

Yes—expect a 10–15% reduction in fuel economy with the iKamper Skycamp DLX Mini mounted. Here's why: the added weight (140.00 lbs) and aerodynamic drag both increase fuel consumption. Hardshells are more efficient than softshells due to their streamlined profile. Removing it when not camping eliminates the penalty entirely.
