At 9 lbs this is the lightest two-bike rack you can buy — the award-winning arc design has been refined over decades. No hitch needed, injection-molded arms, made in USA. The 35 lb per-bike limit means lightweight bikes only, frame contact means not carbon-safe, and no locks. I sold hundreds of these as the gateway into bike carrying. If you want to spend the least amount of money and effort to start carrying two bikes, this is it. Upgrade later when you are ready for a hitch setup.
