Affiliate Disclosure
MyCargoRacks.com is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. This helps us keep the site running and continue producing free, honest content.
How We Earn
We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
When you click an affiliate link on our site and make a purchase, we receive a small commission (typically 3–4.5% of the sale price). This commission comes from the retailer — it does not increase the price you pay.
Editorial Independence
Our affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content. We recommend products based on hands-on testing, expert analysis, and research — not on which products pay the highest commissions. Every product review includes genuine pros and cons, and we regularly recommend products that earn us lower commissions when they are the better choice for our readers.
If a product is not good enough to recommend, we say so — even if it would earn us more money. Our reputation depends on trust, and trust depends on honesty.
Free Products & Sponsorships
We buy the gear we test. We do not accept free samples in exchange for coverage, we do not take brand sponsorships in our reviews, and no brand can pay for a place in a “best of” list or influence where a product ranks in one.
If that ever changes for a specific product — if a manufacturer sends us a unit at no cost, or a piece of coverage is sponsored in any way — we say so in that article, next to the product it applies to, not only here. A free product is a material connection under FTC guidance, and it is separate from the affiliate commissions described above. One disclosure does not cover the other.
As of today, no product reviewed on this site was provided free of charge or sponsored by its manufacturer.
Price & Availability
Product prices and availability are subject to change at any time. While we make every effort to keep pricing information accurate, we cannot guarantee that prices displayed on our site match those currently available on retailer websites. Always verify the current price before making a purchase.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose our affiliate relationships on every page that contains affiliate links. You will find our disclosure statement at the top and bottom of all content pages.
