About Kuat
Kuat is het merk dat trekhaakfietsendragers cool maakte. Opgericht in 2009 in Springfield, Missouri, dook het bedrijf uit het niets op met de NV, een plateau-stijl fietsendrager die eerder in een mountainbike-winkelruit thuishoorde dan in een saaie accessoirecatalogus. De industrie jaagt sindsdien op die uitstraling.
Kuat maakt NV, Sherpa (lichtgewicht), Transfer en Piston Pro, plus trekhaakbagagedragers en bevestigingen. Alles klapt in, kantelt omlaag voor toegang tot de achterklep en vervoert twee of vier fietsen zonder framecontact. De afwerkingen zien er duur uit omdat ze dat zijn — reken op ongeveer $650 voor een NV 2.0 Base voor twee fietsen.
