Why this product
Why the Thule SnowPack Extender?
The SnowPack Extender slides out from the roof for side-loading access — you pull gear from beside the car instead of reaching over the roof. 6 pairs of skis or 4 boards, glove-friendly, lockable. At 8 lbs the sliding mechanism adds minimal weight. If you drive a tall vehicle or park in tight garage spaces, the extending feature solves a real loading problem.
