Why this product
Why the Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 Platform?
Rhino-Rack claims 60% less drag and 20% lighter than the previous Pioneer — and at 50 lbs in aluminum, the Pioneer 6 is a legitimate competitor to the Slimline II. Maximum accessory mounting points give you flexibility. The downside? The accessory ecosystem is still catching up to Front Runner's, and crossbar mounting means it sits higher than direct-mount alternatives.
