Why this product
Why the Yakima SkyBox Carbonite 18?
The SkyBox Carbonite 18 delivers 18 cu ft at 52 lbs with a textured lid that genuinely hides scratches and road grime — a practical finish for daily-driver vehicles. Aerodynamic profile keeps noise manageable. The downside? 52 lbs is on the heavy side for 18 cu ft, and the Carbonite finish limits you to one color option. At 165 lb capacity, the weight limit is standard.
