Por que este produto

Por que o BAL Classic Scissor Jack 30" 2-Pack?

The 30-inch version adds 6 inches of reach over the standard model, built for taller rigs. Same 7,500 lb rating, same proven scissor design. At 40 lbs for the pair, they are not light — but that mass means rock-solid stabilization. If your trailer frame sits above 24 inches, these are the ones to get.

Elogios frequentes

“Durabilidade (16)”
“Estabilidade (7)”

“Just as described!: These are fairly simple to install if you are at all handy and have some basic power tools. At least a good power drill for pilot holes - and I used a cordless impact driver to screw them to the frame. The jacks themselves are robust and come with hardware for mounting. I bought two sets.”

· Ler

“Heavy Duty compared to what came on the trailer: The screw in our existing trailer jacks bent and flopped up and down. the stock jack Sheetmetal itself was flimsy. You can see it wiggle when deployed. This BAL Stabilizer jack is Made in the USA and MUCH MUCH heavier duty. the screw is 5/8 steel.”

· Ler

“Replaced smaller unit for extra lift: My original standard BAL leveling Jack's got bent so I replaced them with these deluxe units. Fit perfectly in the same mount position but does give about about 4 more inches of reach. Works great on my trailer”

Perguntas frequentes

It mounts to the frame rail and extends from 4 to 30 inches. Measure your frame-to-ground height first. It installs bolt-on or weld-on, so an existing jack's holes will not necessarily line up.

5,000 lbs per jack — not per set. This is a set of 2, so the figure on the box may appear as a total; it is 5,000 lbs times 2, and no single jack does more than its own share. Match the per-jack number against the weight actually resting on that corner, which is a fraction of the trailer's weight, not all of it.

No. A stabilizer stops the trailer rocking when you walk around inside it. It is not a lift, and it is not a jack stand. Raising a trailer on stabilizers can bend the frame at the mounting point, and it puts the whole thing on hardware that was never rated to hold it up. Use a bottle jack at a designated lift point, then support the load on stands, and only then go underneath.

This is a set of 2. Four is the normal number for a travel trailer — one at each corner — so a pair covers one end and most owners end up buying two sets. Placing them just inside the corners rather than at the extreme ends does more to stop the rocking, because that is where the frame is stiffest.

Bolt-on or weld-on. Bolting is within reach of anyone with a drill and a socket set; welding is not a driveway job. Either way, mount to the frame rail itself, never to sheet metal or a bed liner — the jack will hold, and the thing it is bolted to will not.

Put something under the foot. A jack pad or a scrap of dimensional lumber spreads the load so the foot does not press into gravel, sand or soft turf. This is not about grip — a stabilizer is not trying to resist sliding, it is trying not to sink. On asphalt in summer heat, a pad also keeps the foot from leaving a dent you will be asked about.
