Why this product
Why the Armadillo AX3?
The Armadillo AX3 gives you hardshell convenience with a 30-second setup that requires zero effort — the gas struts do all the work. At 226 lbs it is heavy, but the 300D poly-cotton canvas and aluminum shell make it genuinely weatherproof for 3+ season use. If you camp year-round and want the fastest setup possible, this is a serious contender in the clamshell category.
