Roof Mounting
bare roof
The 3rd-generation Toyota Tundra (2022+) has a bare cab roof without factory rails on most trims — full-size truck, same challenge as the F-150 and Silverado. The cab roof is not designed as a cargo platform. For cab-roof mounting (limited trims with optional rails): some configurations offer flush rails, requiring Thule Evo Flush Rail (7106) or equivalent. For trims without rails: Thule Evo Clamp with Tundra-specific Fit Kit. The Tundra's primary cargo infrastructure is its bed and factory hitch. Bed rack systems using stake pockets provide the optimal mounting platform. Available bed lengths: 5.5-foot (Short, CrewMax) and 6.5-foot (Long, Double Cab). The Tundra's hybrid powertrain (i-FORCE MAX) does not affect bed or hitch capabilities.
