Roof Mounting
flush rails with factory rails
The 4th-generation Hyundai Tucson (NX4, 2022+) uses flush roof rails across all trims from SE through Limited. Flush rails sit flat against the roof with no visible gap — requiring flush-rail-specific mounting feet. The correct systems: Thule Evo Flush Rail (7106) with WingBar Evo crossbars, or Yakima StreamLine towers with JetStream bars. A vehicle-specific adapter is required to index into the Tucson's flush rail channel profile. The Tucson's rail-to-rail span is approximately 41 inches with a front-to-rear spread of 32-36 inches depending on crossbar position. This accommodates cargo boxes up to L size (Thule Motion 3 L) and all standard kayak and bike carriers. The N Line and XRT trims feature sportier or rugged exterior styling respectively, but the flush rail mounting interface is identical across all trims. Cosmetic differences do not indicate different hardware.
