Why this product
Why the Tuff Stuff Elite with Annex?
The Elite includes an annex with 280GSM poly-cotton canvas, which is a meaningful upgrade over polyester for condensation control. At 194 lbs for a 3-person fold-out with annex, it is heavier than Tepui's comparable Autana 3 at 130 lbs. The canvas versus polyester trade-off explains some of that weight difference. If you want canvas breathability and an included annex at a mid-range price, the Elite offers that combination, though lighter alternatives exist with synthetic fabrics.
