Why this product
Why the CVT Wasatch Hardshell Large?
The Wasatch Large is CVT's entry-level hardshell in a 3-person size. It drops to a 3-season rating compared to the Mt. Hood's 3-plus, which keeps the price lower. At 175 lbs it is heavier than you might expect for a budget model. The 3-inch mattress and 600D canvas are shared across CVT's lineup regardless of tier. Consider this if you need 3-person capacity on a tighter budget and camp mainly in warm months.
