WeatherTech
American manufacturer of premium vehicle accessories including cargo liners, roof racks, and truck bed systems. Made in USA.
About WeatherTech
WeatherTech is the Illinois-based auto-accessory giant best known for its FloorLiner and CargoLiner products. Founded in 1989 by David MacNeil, WeatherTech is a household name in the U.S. because of its superbowl ads and near-universal coverage of American vehicles.
For rack purposes, WeatherTech's relevance is more peripheral — they make hitch-mount cargo carriers, window vent visors, and bumper protectors. The WeatherTech BumpStep is a popular hitch-mounted step that doubles as a tow ball receiver.
Pricing is premium and build quality is the reason. Everything WeatherTech sells is designed in Illinois and manufactured in the U.S. That's increasingly rare.
Did you know?
WeatherTech's Illinois headquarters features a company-owned antique car museum that's free to visit on weekends. Founder David MacNeil started the company in 1989 out of a condo and the first product — a British-made rubber floor mat — was imported from the UK.
