Why this product
Why the Yakima FatCat EVO 6?
The FatCat EVO 6 is built for wide skis — it clears powder skis up to 136mm that jam in standard carriers. 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards, button release for gloved hands, lockable. At 15.5 lbs it is heavier than budget options, but if you ski fat powder boards, most other carriers literally will not fit your gear.
