Why this product
Why the Tuff Stuff Alpha Clamshell (Black)?
The Alpha Clamshell is Tuff Stuff's entry-level clamshell in a black finish. At 176 lbs with 420D polyester oxford and a 30-second setup, it delivers basic clamshell functionality at a budget price. The black finish absorbs more heat in direct sun than lighter colors, which matters in warm climates. If you want a straightforward budget clamshell and prefer a darker aesthetic, the black Alpha is a simple option.
