Why this product
Why the Smittybilt Overlander Roof Top Tent?
The original Smittybilt Overlander is arguably the tent that made rooftop camping accessible in the US market. At 132 lbs with a 5-minute setup, it is a basic fold-out without frills. The 600D PU-coated ripstop polyester gets the job done for 3-season camping. If you want the cheapest possible entry into rooftop tent camping and do not need fast setup or premium materials, this remains a proven option with years of market presence.
