Why this product
Why the OVS K2 Dual Action Clamshell?
The K2 is OVS's step up to 4-season capability with a dual-action clamshell mechanism and a thicker 3-inch mattress. At 220 lbs it is heavy but the 4-season rating and upgraded mattress justify some of that weight. If you want cold-weather clamshell capability without iKamper pricing, the K2 is one of the few budget-to-mid-range options with a genuine 4-season rating.
