At a glance
Why this product
The Mt. Hood is CVT's step up from the La Sal, adding a 3-plus-season rating for cooler-weather camping. Same 600D poly-cotton canvas and 3-inch mattress as the rest of the CVT lineup. At 145 lbs it is slightly lighter than the La Sal 50". The 5-minute setup time is the main drawback compared to clamshell designs. Choose this over the La Sal if you camp into shoulder seasons.
