Why this product
Why the Yakima HoldUp 2?
A solid mid-range platform rack with the SpeedKnob tightener for quick hitch connection. Two bikes at 45 lbs each, tilt-away for trunk access, integrated locks, carbon-frame-safe. At 62 lbs with steel construction, it is heavier than aluminum competitors but typically more affordable. The 45 lb per-bike limit rules out most e-bikes. I recommend this to budget-conscious buyers who want platform-style carrying from a trusted brand without paying premium prices.
