Why this product
Why the Thule OutPace 2-Bike?
At 29 lbs this is one of the lightest platform racks for two bikes, and it fits a 1.25-inch hitch so it works with smaller vehicles. Tool-free install, tilt-away for trunk access, and 55 lb per-bike capacity handles most standard bikes. Steel construction at this weight is impressive. The trade-off is no e-bike rating and limited info on locks and carbon safety. I recommend this as a solid mid-range option for sedan owners who want platform-style carrying without the premium price.
