Carefree of Colorado is one of the biggest RV awning manufacturers in the U.S. Based in Broomfield, Colorado, they've been making patio awnings, slide-toppers, window awnings, and awning replacement fabric since the 1970s.
The Carefree Mirage electric awning is probably the most-used OEM awning on American RVs. If you have a travel trailer or Class C with a factory electric awning, there's a very good chance it's a Carefree. Replacement fabric and parts are available everywhere.
Pricing is premium (installed). Warranty support is solid. For RVers, Carefree is usually a safer choice than Dometic or Zamp.

Carefree of Colorado's original Colorado Springs factory was destroyed by a fire in 2012 and the company relocated to Broomfield, Colorado. The Mirage awning design has been essentially unchanged since 2005, making it one of the longest-running RV product designs still in mass production.
