About RockyMounts

RockyMounts is the boutique Boulder, Colorado rack shop founded in 2004 by Bobby Noyes. They started with a single pickup-bed mount product and grew by building thoughtful, mountain-bike-specific solutions at prices that undercut the big brands.

The MonoRail Solo, BackStage, and Split Rail hitch racks are all tray-style, no-frame-contact designs. The BackStage is notable for swinging 180 degrees away from your tailgate, which matters if you own an SUV with a liftgate.

Prices are mid-tier, catalog is narrow, and availability can be frustrating. But in a world of rebadged Asian-import racks, RockyMounts is genuinely designed in Colorado.

Did you know?

RockyMounts is named after the small Boulder bike shop where founder Bobby Noyes worked before starting the company, and every employee at the Boulder warehouse still gets a free bike-shop tab for Tuesday lunch.
