B&W Trailer Hitches is the Kansas-based manufacturer that's earned a reputation as the heavy-duty hitch-maker of choice. Family-owned, made in the U.S., and known for their gooseneck and fifth-wheel hitches that dominate the heavy-towing space.

B&W's Turnoverball gooseneck (retractable, hides under the bed floor) is the most popular gooseneck on the aftermarket. The Companion fifth-wheel and the Patriot receiver hitches are regularly rated top in the category.

Not cheap — expect to pay 1.5x what you'd pay for a comparable CURT or Reese product. But these hitches routinely outlast the trucks they're installed on, and B&W's customer service has a near-cult following.
