Why this product
Why the CURT 18153 Basket-Style Cargo Carrier?
The CURT 18153 is an Amazon bestseller for good reason — 60x24" basket with 500 lb capacity, folding 2" shank, and reflectors at a budget price point. At 42 lbs in carbon steel, it handles serious loads. The downside? Steel means rust risk without maintenance, no anti-wobble device included, and the folding mechanism adds a potential rattle point.
