Why this product
Why the CURT 18115 Tray Cargo Carrier 48x20 Folding?
Here's the thing — the CURT 18115 folds up when not in use, which solves the biggest complaint about hitch carriers. At 48x20" and 29 lbs with 300 lb capacity, it's compact enough for regular use. The downside? 300 lb capacity is lower than the 500 lb models, the 48" length is tight for larger loads, and the steel will need maintenance to prevent rust.
