Hollywood Racks has been in the hitch-bike-rack business since 1973 — longer than most of their competitors have existed. Based in Los Angeles, the company has spent fifty years building a reputation for heavy-duty, no-frills racks that carry more weight than the spec sheet suggests.

Their Sport Rider SE series is the go-to hitch rack for e-bike owners, with a 250-pound capacity and wheel holders that actually fit fat tires. The HR1400 and HR1450 are older designs but still in the catalog because they refuse to die.

Pricing sits in the mid-tier. The aesthetic is functional, not fashionable. If your priority is capacity and longevity over looks, Hollywood is often a better buy than Kuat.
