Why this product
Why the CVT Mt. Bachelor Softshell 48"?
At 95 lbs, the Mt. Bachelor 48" is exceptionally light for a clamshell tent. The 30-second setup and 3-inch mattress are strong selling points for the weight. The 600D poly-cotton canvas and 3-plus-season rating give it slight cold-weather capability beyond basic 3-season tents. If your vehicle has limited payload capacity or you want to minimize rooftop weight, this should be near the top of your list.
