Why this product
Why the Yakima MegaWarrior?
The MegaWarrior is Yakima's largest cargo basket — a wide steel platform at 35 lbs for oversized loads. It fits wide crossbar setups and has an extension option. Here's the thing: if you routinely haul irregular, bulky gear that won't fit in a box, this is built for that. The downside? Steel means corrosion risk, no wind fairing means highway noise, and the weight adds up before you load anything.
