Why this product
Why the Yakima CBX 16?
The CBX 16 offers 16 cu ft with Yakima's SkyRise fabric top and dual opening. At 79 lbs, it's the heaviest 16 cu ft box on the market — the Thule Motion 3 L does the same volume at 43.6 lbs. The downside? That weight difference is massive. Unless you specifically want the SkyRise feature, lighter alternatives deliver the same capacity with less impact on your roof load budget.
