Proč tento produkt

Proč Camco RV Ladder Mount Bike Rack?

At 9 lbs, this is the simplest way to carry 2 bikes on an RV — it mounts directly to your existing ladder. No hitch, no bumper modifications. The trade-off is lower weight capacity and less security than a proper hitch-mount rack, but for casual camping trips where you just need bikes at camp, it is hard to beat the convenience.

“Inexpensive ladder mounts that works: Bike Rack Used to carry two full size bikes on my rear mount ladder on my RV. Bikes mounts using the seat mount tube/ frame. Straps held well during travel but I added an extra strap for more security.”

“Great quality: Bike Rack I've read reviews that say this doesn't hold weight well. I load mine with 5 fold up camping chairs, all pretty heavy GCI brand. The rack is awesome!”

“Our Bikes: Bike Rack Held two bike in place and they never moved. Easy to mount and is well made”

Časté dotazy

Často kladené otázky

The Camco RV Ladder Mount Bike Rack mounts to standard RV bumpers (4"x4"). Fits most travel trailers and fifth wheels with steel bumpers. Use our kontrola kompatibility to confirm your bumper specs.

The Camco RV Ladder Mount Bike Rack carries up to 60.0 lbs. That's the carrier's rating—your bumper or hitch has its own limit too. Use whichever number is lower. Overloading bends bumpers and voids warranties. Weigh your gear, don't guess.

Yes. Budget 20 minutes and basic hand tools. The Camco RV Ladder Mount Bike Rack bolts to your bumper or slides into your hitch receiver. One person can do it, but a second pair of hands makes alignment easier. Instructions included.

Possibly. The Camco RV Ladder Mount Bike Rack extends behind your RV and may obscure your plate depending on mounting height and cargo size. Most states require a visible, illuminated plate at all times. Relocate your plate or add a plate bracket if blocked. Details in právní průvodce.

The Camco RV Ladder Mount Bike Rack is built from steel. Apply a rust-inhibitor spray twice a year if you drive in salt-belt states. Rinse after winter trips. Store indoors when not in use to maximize lifespan.

The Camco RV Ladder Mount Bike Rack does not fold. You'll need to remove it when not carrying gear, which takes 15 minutes. Store it in your garage between trips.

Adding 9.00 lbs of carrier plus your cargo weight behind the rear axle shifts your RV's center of gravity. Keep loads under the rated limit and distribute weight evenly. You'll notice slightly longer stopping distances. Take corners slower than usual until you're used to the extra rear weight.
