The OVS K2 Dual Action Clamshell is a 4-season hardshell clamshell rooftop tent with an aluminum shell and 600D polyester ripstop fabric. It sleeps 3, weighs 220 lbs, features a 3-inch mattress, and sets up in about 30 seconds.

At 220 lbs it is heavy but the 4-season rating and upgraded mattress justify some of that weight. If you want cold-weather clamshell capability without iKamper pricing, the K2 is one of the few budget-to-mid-range options with a genuine 4-season rating.
