The Arcos Platform is the base you need for Thule's rear-mount cargo system — a 23.5 lb hitch platform that tilts for tailgate access. It pairs with the Arcos Box or carries coolers and bins on its own. The downside? It's essentially a proprietary platform that costs real money before you even add the cargo box, and the 2" receiver requirement rules out Class I hitches.
