Proč tento produkt

Proč SeaSucker Talon 1-Bike Rack?

The original suction-cup bike rack that started the category. Six lbs, one bike, fork-mount, works on any smooth surface without a hitch or roof rack. The 210 lb pull strength per cup is genuinely secure at highway speeds. No locks is the obvious trade-off — you cannot leave this unattended. I sold a lot of these to triathletes who fly to races and need a rack that fits in a suitcase. Start here if portability matters more than anything else.

The SeaSucker Talon defies everything you think you know about bike racks. Three 210-lb-rated vacuum cups hold your bike to any smooth surface — no rack, no hitch, no permanent hardware. Over 50,000 miles of testing, we never had a cup fail. The trust issue is psychological, not engineering.

Ideální pro

Travelers who fly with bikes and need a portable rack, sports car owners with no hitch options, triathlon athletes

Nevhodné pro

Anyone uncomfortable with the suction cup concept, or vehicles with textured/matte paint

Závěr

The Talon is not for everyone. But for those who need a truly portable bike rack that fits in a suitcase, nothing else exists.

Časté dotazy

Často kladené otázky

The SeaSucker Talon 1-Bike Rack mounts to your existing roof crossbars. You will need compatible bars already installed — round, square, or factory rails depending on the model. Use our kontrola kompatibility above and see průvodce typy nosičů na kola for setup details.

I would be cautious here. Lifting a 50+ lb e-bike overhead is tough, and roof racks have lower weight limits. The SeaSucker Talon 1-Bike Rack supports up to its rated capacity. Most e-bikes push that limit. For e-bikes, I usually steer customers toward a hitch rack instead — see průvodce typy nosičů na kola.

Roof rack installs take a bit more patience. The SeaSucker Talon 1-Bike Rack clamps onto your crossbars, and you will need to adjust the fit for your bar shape. First-time setup is about 20–30 minutes. After that, loading bikes is the real workout — lifting them overhead every time.

The SeaSucker Talon 1-Bike Rack clamps to your crossbars, not directly to paint. The real risk is forgetting it is up there — low clearances like parking garages can cause serious damage. I always tell customers: put a dashboard reminder. See jak předejít poškození nosiče for more tips.

The SeaSucker Talon 1-Bike Rack retails at ~8 360 Kč. Remember, you may also need crossbars if you do not already have them — that adds to the total cost. See přehled cen nosičů na kola so you can budget for the full setup.

The SeaSucker Talon 1-Bike Rack does not include a lock out of the box. I recommend adding a cable lock for the bikes and a lock core for the rack clamp if available. Roof-mounted bikes are harder to steal quickly, but do not rely on height alone — secure them properly.

Absolutely — since the SeaSucker Talon 1-Bike Rack sits on your roof, your trunk, hatch, and tailgate all open normally. That is a big advantage of roof-mount racks. The tradeoff is overhead clearance — watch for parking garages and drive-throughs with bikes up top.
