Proč tento produkt

Proč Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk Rack?

The trunk rack that got more people into bike carrying than any other — at 8 lbs and a price that is practically disposable, it carries two bikes at 35 lbs each. Fits most sedans and SUVs. Not carbon-safe, no locks, frame contact, basic strap attachment. I sold thousands of these. The trade-offs are obvious but so is the value. If you are not sure you will use a bike rack more than twice, start here. You can always upgrade once you know this is your thing.

The Allen Sports Deluxe 2 is the most affordable functional bike rack on the market. Under $50, it does exactly one thing: gets two bikes from point A to point B. No locks, no anti-sway, basic padding. But it works. For occasional use with budget bikes, nothing beats the value.

Ideální pro

College students, first-time bike owners, anyone who needs a rack once or twice a year

Nevhodné pro

Anyone with bikes worth more than $500 — use at least a Saris Bones or better

Závěr

The Allen Sports Deluxe is the Honda Civic of bike racks: no frills, reliable, and incredibly affordable. Just manage your expectations.

“A lifesaver for a cross county move.: This worked exceptionally well. The bike held on sturdy and it didn't feel like it'll fall off. It only took about 10 minutes to set up the first time, and its actually very easy to take down and get access to your truck.”

“Must buy!: Buy this, NOW. Don’t waste your money on the expensive, name brand racks. This took me maybe 5 min to set up. I ordered rubber pads to protect my car from the metal hook, stabilizer thingys. Very sturdy and worth it! Ignore the dangling straps, I should have wrapped them before taking a pic.”

“Great Bike Rack for Three Bikes: Goes on easily and fits perfectly. Very happy with its sturdiness. My bikes stayed safe and secure for a 3-hour journey. I hadn't put on a bike rack in 30 years. Took me a little bit, but it was well worth it.”

Časté dotazy

Často kladené otázky

The Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk Rack uses adjustable straps to attach to most sedans, hatchbacks, and SUVs — no hitch needed. It is one of the most universal mounting options out there. Check our kontrola kompatibility above and read průvodce nosiči na víko kufru for fit tips.

Honestly, I would not recommend trunk racks for e-bikes. E-bikes typically weigh 45–65 lbs each, and trunk-mount racks are designed for lighter standard bikes. The Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk Rack supports up to its rated capacity. For e-bikes, upgrade to a hitch rack — see průvodce typy nosičů na kola.

Trunk racks are the easiest to set up — that is why they are so popular with first-timers. The Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk Rack uses adjustable straps and hooks. You can have it on your car in about 5–10 minutes, no tools needed. I tell every beginner to start here. See průvodce nosiči na víko kufru for tips.

I will be honest — trunk racks have the highest damage risk because straps and hooks touch your paint directly. The Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk Rack uses padded contact points, but clean your trunk surface first and check the pads regularly. Read jak předejít poškození nosiče for must-know protection tips.

The Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk Rack retails at ~1 050 Kč. Trunk racks are the most budget-friendly category, which is why they are great as a starting point. Start here, upgrade later when you know what you need. See přehled cen nosičů na kola for comparisons.

The Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk Rack does not include a lock, and trunk racks are the easiest type to remove. I strongly recommend a cable lock through the bike frames and around the rack. Some customers also use a strap lock. See průvodce nosiči na víko kufru for security tips.

This is the biggest trunk rack tradeoff. With the Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk Rack mounted, you cannot open your trunk or hatch. You need to remove the rack first, which takes a few minutes. Plan your cargo loading before you strap the rack on. See průvodce nosiči na víko kufru for workarounds.
