Smittybilt

Smittybilt is the 4x4 accessory brand owned by TransAmerican Auto Parts (parent of 4 Wheel Parts). Founded in the 1950s, Smittybilt makes a huge range of Jeep and off-road accessories — winches, bumpers, fender flares, lighting, and the Overlander rooftop tent.

The Smittybilt Overlander RTT is the budget introduction to rooftop camping. It's a softshell, about $1,200 new, and while it's not as refined as an ARB or 23ZERO, it's often the first real RTT that people can afford. Build quality is "fine, not great."

For Jeep and Wrangler owners specifically, Smittybilt's ecosystem is tough to beat on price.
