Why this product
Why the Tuff Stuff Alpha II Clamshell?
The Alpha II drops 35 lbs compared to the original Alpha, coming in at 141 lbs. That weight reduction is significant for a clamshell of the same capacity. Same 420D polyester oxford and 30-second setup as the Alpha. If you are comparing Tuff Stuff clamshells, the Alpha II is the better option unless you find the original Alpha at a meaningful discount. The lighter weight makes it suitable for a wider range of vehicles.
