Why this product
Why the Tyger Auto Roof Cargo Basket?
The Tyger Auto basket is a budget steel roof basket at 35 lbs with universal crossbar fit — widely available on Amazon at aggressive pricing. It works for occasional camping trips and hardware store runs. The downside? No wind fairing means noticeable highway noise, the paint finish chips easily, and the universal mounting hardware requires patience to get right.
