About Torklift

Torklift International is the Washington-based manufacturer of heavy-duty truck and RV accessories founded in 1980. They make GlowSteps entry steps, StableLoad overload stabilizers, truck camper tie-downs, and fifth-wheel Landing Gear Couplers.

Torklift's GlowStep truck camper steps are the gold standard — aluminum, fold-out, and with glow-in-the-dark treads. Their StableLoads are the fix for pickup trucks that sag under heavy tongue weight.

Pricing is premium. Made in the U.S. in Kent, Washington. Family-owned since founding and supported by an actual American customer service line.

Torklift was founded in 1980 by Jay Taylor, a truck camper enthusiast who designed the first Torklift tie-down system because existing ones kept ripping out of truck beds. The company is still family-owned and the original Kent, Washington facility is still the headquarters.
