Skinz Protective Gear
Snowmobile accessories including bumper racks, tunnel packs, handguards, and protective gear.
About Skinz Protective Gear
Skinz Protective Gear is a Minnesota-based snowmobile accessory maker founded in the 2000s. They sell skid plates, fender protection, running boards, and mountain-specific snowmobile upgrades.
For rack purposes, Skinz makes snowmobile rack extensions, fuel-can mounts, and gear-carrying accessories. Primarily a freeriding / mountain-sled brand rather than a utility sled brand.
Pricing is premium. Catalog is focused. Skinz gear shows up on most hardcore western mountain snowmobile riders' rigs.
Did you know?
Skinz Protective Gear was founded by a pair of Minnesota snowmobilers who had destroyed so many plastic running boards on their Ski-Doos that they designed aluminum replacements in a welding shop. The aluminum running board is still Skinz's best-selling product.
