Why this product
Why the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Tray?
The Pioneer Tray is a flat aluminum platform at 42 lbs — no sides, no rails, just an open loading surface for oversized or irregular cargo. Compatible with Rhino-Rack's accessory ecosystem. The downside? No sidewalls means everything needs to be strapped down securely, and loose items will shift at highway speeds. It's a purpose-built tool, not a general-purpose carrier.
